Charting Progress and Planning for the Future: Rollux Mainnet Deployment Update

We’re happy to share that we have made significant strides and are on the cusp of releasing something incredibly exciting for the entire blockchain space, none other than Rollux going public on mainnet. We will soon unveil the definitive release date.

In the meantime, now is the perfect time to update you on what we’ve accomplished so far and the milestones we are in the process of achieving. This update will spotlight the mission-critical elements of Rollux’s progress.

Key Milestones Achieved

Rollux Infrastructure

We have made significant headway recently, which we would like to share with you. As of earlier this week, our closed dry-run of Rollux Mainnet became operational. Our mainnet RPC servers are running reliably, which includes a whitelist server for Ankr RPC.

Importantly, we have laid down key infrastructural smart contracts. Rollux is now settling to the Syscoin L1 mainnet and using PoDA, effectively anchoring itself to Bitcoin’s robust, unparalleled security. As we deploy dapps and protocols internally on this dry-run infrastructure, we’re provided with opportunities to refine and enhance multiple aspects of our ecosystem. This paves the way to a polished public mainnet.

Security Audit and Rollux Portal Progress

Cyrex Ltd has completed the security audit for Rollux. We are pleased to report that there were no major concerns. A few minor improvements were identified and are being swiftly implemented.

As for the Rollux Portal, it’s practically ready to roll. The mainnet release will include an upgrade that adds support for bridging NFTs, which is currently under rigorous testing.

Introducing Safe

We’ve successfully deployed the latest LTS release of Safe (formerly known as Gnosis Safe), the well-known and widely-used decentralized custody protocol and multi-signature management tool. It’s now operational on Rollux Tanenbaum (testnet), Syscoin mainnet, and Syscoin Tanenbaum. Once final tests are completed, Safe will be deployed to Rollux mainnet, and all instances, including that of L1, will be made publicly accessible.

Current Pipeline

Upgrading Pegasys DEX to Uniswap V3

We’re in the process of transitioning the Pegasys deployment on Rollux from Uniswap V2 to V3. This critical step will lead to more efficient liquidity service for the ecosystem and improved integration for providers. Our partners at Chainge Finance, for instance, are keen on providing liquidity-based bridging for Rollux, offering users the added convenience of speed bridging back to Layer 1. This upgrade also paves the way for other third-party protocol integrations.

Rollux Documentation Coming Together

Our team is working resolutely to get the Rollux Community Hub, which includes our technical documentation and developer tutorials, ready in time for the Rollux public mainnet release. Currently, the Community Hub content is about 25% complete, while tutorials are halfway done.

Rollux Mainnet Explorer (Blockscout) on the Horizon

We’re gearing up to provision hosts and a subdomain for the Rollux Explorer, after which we will deploy it.

In Conclusion

The anticipation for the Rollux mainnet release is high. We’re incredibly grateful for your patience and continued support. We’re committed to delivering a product that meets the highest standards of speed, security, and affordability, a product that genuinely makes a difference in the crypto space and, given the potential of blockchain’s promise, the world at large. The extra time we’re taking now is to ensure we deliver on these promises.
